First post of 2012! Not much to say, actually. I subbed yesterday… been busy with other things.

Busy Saturday!
So, we got a lot done today. It was BEAUTIFUL day! I got the oak tree transplanted. I also transplanted the banana plants and the blue mist. Then, Charlie and I got all of the outside Christmas lights up. We were able to utilize the space that the old dead tree was (I’ll have Charlie tell that story in a separate post… it’s crazy). Then, I even baked cookies!

Doing okay. Keeping busy…
I’ve been subbing 3-4 days a week, and I love it. I’m also busy with children’s choir, regular church choir, and community choir. I also picked up a Sunday School teaching position (once every 5 weeks) for 3-4 year olds. I’m pretty excited about that. I’m also praying about helping out with Younglife (it would be Monday nights)....

Mixed news
Well, basically, we wasted a morning at the doctor. They didn’t really have anything conclusive for us… so, guess what! We get to do more waiting!!! I’m debating on seeing a specialty OB in a few weeks if I still don’t know anything (basically, it’s just too early to know anything in my case… typical… I just HAVE to do everything the COMPLICATED way!)

Sonogram
I have another sonogram tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:30. Finally… I’ll get the answers I’ve been waiting for these last two and a half weeks.

Test results
My blood test looked decent. I need another sonogram next week to make more sense of what’s going on. For now, though, we seem to be okay.

Bloodwork done. Just waiting for answers. If the bloodwork comes back okay, I need to get another sonogram. They think that I may not be as far along as I thought I was for whatever reason.

I have another blood test tomorrow (Monday). This test, combined with the blood test last week, should give us some answers. I should get results Tuesday.
So, more waiting! But, I’m feeling okay… so, we’ll just keep thinking positive and praying.
Doctor
I went to the doctor for some tests and a sonogram today. I should have more information early next week. The only thing I know so far is that I have a UTI. Please keep us in prayers. It’s going to be a long wait.

Baby Willgren
Yep! It’s true! Charlie and I are having a baby! I’m due a couple days after Mother’s Day. That puts me at 6 1/2 weeks. We’re super duper excited about it, but it still doesn’t quite feel like it’s actually happening!

Happy Friday!
I subbed today. I had 5th graders. It was an up and down day… so now I’m tired. Otherwise, it’s just been subbing off and on and doing the usual, such as doing kids choir, community choir, etc.
In other news, Today is the first Dukeadoptiversary! I can’t believe we’ve had him for a year! He’s a good boy.
Bah! Colts!
Colts lost bad today. I was celebrating that they actually scored and avoided a shutout, that’s how bad it was. Colts have a lot of newbies this year, and most importantly, Manning is out with another neck surgery. The offense needs to learn how to cope without him. Collins tried his best, but he certainly wasn’t playing like a veteran QB. Bah. It’s going to be a looooong...
Fifties!
It got down to 50 degrees (if not a bit lower) this morning! We opened all the windows last night and unburied our comforter. I even woke up early to enjoy the nice, crisp, cool weather. Chemistry!
So today, I watched a chemistry video…. 6 times!!! The funny thing was that it was THE SAME VIDEO that I saw 11 years ago in my high school chem class… and I remembered it!

Yay! I got called in to sub today! I subbed for a teacher in Blanco, too! And I get to sub tomorrow, too!

It was an interesting day. I love living in a small town. Well, it’s the first day of school… and I’m sitting at home. I know there’s a reason for it, but yeah, I’m a bit bummed. Hopefully, I start getting calls for subbing soon, or even get calls for interviews.
